Fun bright cards

I bought a DCWV neon paperstack...the colors are vibrant and the paper is thick enough to use for a card base...
The frog is a ScrappyDew file
On this card I use StampinUp Heat & Stick powder for the glitter...this product is a new favorite of mine!

I'm back

It's been a long while since I've shared some of my creations...so I thought I would share a card that I embossed and then added glitter (followed Gink K's directions and it works great). Also on my card I added an embellishment - it's a watch part that I wrapped wire around added a heart and then set it in wax seal (a new fun crafty thing for me). Enjoy
Happy New Year...Christmas was wonderful!

I really enjoyed making these wheel cards from Lori Whitlock  and of course when you spin the wheel something new appears.

Panel Purse and card

The purse pattern from Cre8ivecutz was cut with my Zing. It's the perfect size for a scarf! After cutting out the top I painted the white paper and embossed.

New stand to display Cards

Okay so DH talked me into buying this stand when we were at Michaels and it's actually working out to display my cards. I cut solid cardstock for each page and added slits to hold the cards! Check it out...

Cardville continues

I subscribe to Dover Publications and once a week receive free samples. One of the free samples was Steampunk and I couldn't resist purchasing their Steampunk Sourcebook. There are tons of steampunk cliparts to use.And of course I made several cards with my new clipart.

I bought some yarn from Walmart to embellish cards and so far this is what I've done with it... the yarn can be used in so many different ways. The flowers were cut out on the Zing! Love that machine...

This weekend's cards include:

Matching cards. I decided to create with a theme by using the same cardstock/pattern paper to make cards. So far one matching set has been made. It includes 2 sympathy and 2 generic cards. Now I get to pick out my next piece of paper and get creating!

Here are some other cards I created...the top cut was done with the Eclips and the bottom shapes were cut with the Zing. Love my cutters!

This weekend was a Cardganza

The martini guy was a free digital stamp that I colored with my Copics; the bird and flowers were from the Eclips cards front cartridge; and the Fiskar fuse was used for the teal card.

Thinking of You card is a Silhouette design that I printed and foiled. Shopping lady is completely digital; background graphic is Stamping Up and the shopper was a freebie. Enjoy the journey is Tim Holtz stamps, a Silhouette cutting file (wheel) with foiling and embossing.

Cards I made this weekend using my KNK Zing, Eclips, Fiskars Fuse, and stamps! The flowers on the hat were cut with the Zing, paper thin paper; one flower is approx. 3/8" and the other is smaller...gotta luv the Zing!

Life is Good! A few of us at work have started sending goodies to the soldiers overseas. We met a Colonel in the USMC who just returned from Afghanistan and provided us contact information. How cool is that! Within one week we have collected enough items to send quite a few boxes.

I mailed my OWH cards and have started on my next batch. I'm excited to use the Fiskar Fuse for the first time on one of my cards . The Fuse is a letterpress-die cutter all in one and accepts 12" paper! Fun stuff!

I'm making cards for Operation Write Home and I used "stuff" in my stash that has been collecting dust. I did some foiling, stamping, label making, and coloring. Here are a few of the cards I've made so far...more to come :)

It was a Sizzix Week!

The Adore card I made for our exterminator who just had a baby girl. I used my BigShot with the Sizzix framelits, stamped and embellished (broke out the paper tagger). On the bird flourish card I used my Sizzix Eclips (love this cutter, but wish it worked with Make the Cut) to cut the frame, stamped and added rhinestuds. And my favorite card this week is the Birthday-Grad card..on it I used the new Sizzix Diffuser oval. I traced the oval on a post-it note, put it on the card front then stamped, embossed with the diffuser and candle embossing folder.

I purchased the Bustier Purse/bag pattern from Cre8ive Cutz. It was new in the store and just in time for a Bridal Shower gift. Everyone at the shower loved it! I also bought a book (The Wrapping Scarf Revolution) on using scarfs for gift wrapping.  I made the scarf using fabric I had, cut to size (30x30) and put a rolled hem on it. I truly enjoyed wrapping this gift...LOL

More card sharing

Having fun making cards....I've been using a lot of rhinestones and embellishments on my cards. I haven't colored much with my Copics, especially skintones, but I have lots of them and figured I needed to start using them... more cards coming soon!

Tinks - My Scrapchick file

The card above I made using a paper piecing file from MyScrapChick it's the Tinks file...but I changed it a bit...the word art came from TLC. I really enjoyed giving the card my own look. The other two cards are my simple cards. They were printed, put on background cardstock and then I added diamond glaze for a lipgloss effect, ribbon, and flower with a stud.

I don't know if blogworld is for me. But it's the one place I can post my stuff to share and then just add a link for others to see. Today I'm sharing my steampunk girl card (the metal on the card is jewelry) and think card (image was a freebie designed by Tracey Malnofski); to color I used chalk, and Copics for the lips and eye then added some stickles.

I've been working on a wedding album - it's a gift for a friend...so once it's gifted I'll share pictures.

Well it was a four day weekend and things didn't go as planned. Oh well, life goes on. Anyhow these are couple of tumblers I made..the zebra print was a challenge, but I really like how it turned out.

My version of SPS Frosted Window

One of my favorite websites, Splitcoaststampers, shares tutorials on every Wed. Every now and then I'll try a technique out. This one is my version of the Frosted Window .

This is my second blog post and today I'm sharing some Valentine gifts I made. The bag is called a Humbug bag; these are the small ones and are good for keys, change, etc. The cupcake box is a purchased file from MyScrapChick. I cut these using the MTC with the KNK Zing. Each bag is different. Oh and the mirrors were made with my button maker. I broke one mirror and had several goofs, but I think I've figured it out finally! Okay well my husband figured it out for me LOL.

Sharing My Creations

Hello, I'm joining the blogging world to share my crafting creations and to follow others crafter's blogs. I enjoy making cards, scrapbooking, decorating tumblers, sewing clothes and other stuff.

Today I'm sharing a foil card . The image is a Silhouette cut file. But instead of cutting, I printed on black cardstock, foiled using the foil machine and silver spectre foil and added some bling (K&Company brad)! I love how the foil gives off a rainbow of color.
